How to care for an aquarium

Only with proper care of the aquarium will the aquarium be beautiful and will delight your eyes and your guests. It is easier to look after him than someone - a cat or a bird. Do not walk with the aquarium, clean the toilet trough every day....... This is subject to the correct launch of the aquarium. But days pass, and on such a clean sand or pebbles at first, dirt begins to appear, incomprehensible film and microorganisms appear on the glasses, and such a neat bush of a plant suddenly begins to stretch out of the water. What to do? What happened? But in fact, it's nothing terrible, and you don't need to be scared, it's just time to clean the aquarium for the first time. The aquarium, like any dwelling, needs regular cleaning. During cleaning part of water is replaced. And there is nothing difficult in this procedure, especially since it is enough to spend it only once a week, and if there are few fish, then it will be enough twice a month (but these dates depend on the volume of the aquarium, the presence of a filter). To care for the aquarium, we will need a bucket, regular or special hose with a siphon nozzle.

First, the glass is cleaned with a magnetic scraper (for rectangular models) or a sponge on a wooden handle. After cleaning the glass, the filter will be washed. In the most common internal filters, the filter material consists of a special water-resistant foam. The filter is turned off, carefully pulled out (some filters have the possibility of disconnecting the filter compartment without disconnection) and carried to the bathroom or kitchen for washing IN WATER from the aquarium, but in no case in the running room. Let's move on to the most important thing - the replacement of water in the aquarium. Water is the habitat of fish and plants and its regular substitutions have a very beneficial effect on the condition of aquarium inhabitants. With fresh water, doses of trace elements necessary for the development of plants are introduced into the aquarium, and with old water part of the fish life products are removed from the aquarium. the hose is stuck in the aquarium, its other end is taken into the mouth and the liquid is carefully absorbed. The main trick in this procedure is to have time to put the end of the hose in the bucket before you bread water. After a little practice, this is quite easy and simple and the water joyfully burcha rushes from the aquarium into the substituted dishes. Of course, the bucket should be below the water level in the aquarium, otherwise nothing will work. You can do otherwise - the hose is completely melted in the aquarium, completely filled with water, then the ends of the hose are gently pressed, one end is transferred to the bucket and released there. We plug the other end deeper into the aquarium (it is better to put your hand in the water, otherwise it is too difficult to direct the hose to the right places) and start driving them in places of accumulation of dirt or the remains of undernourished feed. In order not to start sucking sand from the bottom, and a careless or too curious fish can also tighten - a funnel is often put on the end of the hose. This greatly simplifies the cleaning procedure, and the sand remains in the aquarium, and does not migrate all to the bucket. Siphonite soil - this means the removal of micro particles of uneaten feed and fish excrement, which, having accumulated there in large quantities, can begin to rot. The process of siphoning the soil itself does not differ from the usual replacement of water, a hose is also used, only the cylinder fitted on its end is not just driven over the ground, but is stuck into it. Stuck, a storm of sand and stones rose that pull the current, and with them all the dirt accumulated in the sand. But the stones are heavy, they rise to half the cylinder and fall back down, and lighter particles of dirt take away the flow of water. As soon as the water in the cylinder becomes transparent, it sticks into the neighboring area of the ground. And so until the bucket is filled (this does not apply to 2-10 liters of aquariums)))) In the aquarium you NEVER need to change all the water! Those who drag the whole bath to wash the aquarium, plant fish in a pan and wash it until the soil boils - they do absolutely wrong. The rate of substitution is 10 to 25% of the total volume per week. And you don't have to wash anything in fools! Water must be put in advance to settle, so that chlorine leaves and the sludge of the mud settles, as a result, the water will become clear. For everything about everything - half an hour a week, and your aquarium will be clean and transparent))), and fish and plants feel good...

FILM ON WATER

To remove the film, paper is ideal and put the sheet - and immediately remove so that you do not have time to soak through!!! Put a compressor with a sprayer, it will not allow the film to appear. Pay attention to the well-being of fish, if they swim in the thickness - means all ok! If most of the time is spent at the surface, then the film prevents surface gas exchange. When the surface of the water is stationary (no aeration, no flute above the water from the filter, the current at the surface is weak) - the film is always formed on it! Harm from it only from the aesthetic side, because it does not harm the inhabitants - it passes oxygen
